Many listings show the exact piece, but some photos show the type of piece. If that matters to you, call or email before you order and we will check.
How do you decide the locality?
We use the source country written in the listing. If the listing does not say, we leave it blank rather than guess.
What do the size classes mean?
They come from the weight or measurement in the listing title. See specimen size classes.
Can I see a piece before buying?

How are fragile specimens shipped?
Orders ship from New York City through namastebookshop.com. Costs and options show at checkout before you pay; for very large pieces, pickup is the safest option.
